Year in Review
When I first looked at writing this essay I thought I was going to be really easy and I was going to get it done really quickly and without problem. I soon found out that I was going to have to put in actual work to get this essay done. I first thought about the topic and what I liked best about the 1980s. I thought well my favorite movie is “The Breakfast Club “and it was released into theaters in 1985 so I picked that year. Then I thought about what subjects I would like to research and I picked subjects that related to what I liked. The subjects that I chose to do research on was movies, fashion, teen life and culture, popular music and events, and celebrities that influenced the fashion the time. Then I went to the library and found a reference book on the teens in the 1980s which was exactly what I needed. Then I got information from various websites because every little thing I need to know about the year had to be looked up. I started the introduction off by stating what I observed about my year by what people cared about which was materials and material possessions and it ended similarly. I am happy that I wrote this paper because it will be easier to write the rest of the papers for this class because I will have most of the research done already.
